Bagpacks

We all have been there, school comes around and you rush to the store to find a backpack. Little did you know that you and 5 other girls fell in love with the same backpack. Whats a fasionista to do? Now your stuck with a bulky thing that you have to carry around everywhere, clashes with your outfits, and is the exact same as 5 other girls. No fear there is a sensible solution to this problem. Get a bag pack as I like to call it. This can be a tote, a cute messenger bag, or just a big purse. It will make you look fashionable, stand out, and most likely no one in your class would have thought of something quite so clever. Here are some tips on picking the right Bagpack:
1. Make sure the bag is big enough to hold a book and a couple of binders. Hopefully you won't have to hold such a heavy load all at once, but just in case it is always great to be prepared.
2. If the bag is already heavy before you put anything in it PUT IT DOWN. No matter how cute the bag is it will only give you back problems in the end.
3. Choose a practical color. Stay away from the lime greens and the hot pinks, they will definitely clash with half of the outfits you wear.
Below are some websites where you can find large totes or bags to use a a Bagpack.

Website Favorites

I've done some research and I have come up with a few websites that any fashionista should use as a fashion source.

1.www.fashionclub.com  is a club from the college FIDM ( A mainly fashion college in California). This website offers scholarships, beauty tips, fashion tips, trends, sketch contests, contests, a fashion blog, and even a fashion advice column where you can ask questions.

2. www.lookbook.nu is a website where fashionable people from all around the world post pictures of outfits they wear. This is great for inspiration and mainly is a quick and easy way to get street style inspiration all the time. You can even become a member and post your own outfits.

3. www.style.com is impossible to explain. This website offers anything from red carpet fashion to runway fashion. It gives you the latest scoop on the trends and tips. This is a great website to get refreshed on all the trends, celebrity fashion, couture fashion, and much more.

Hope you enjoy these websites

Back to school

We all know what it feels like to go back to school. You are excited to see your friends, dreading homework, wondering if you will get a date to the homecoming dance, and hoping your locker this year is next to that cute guy you have had a crush on forever.
Overall of course you need to be yourself and be friendly and all, but I think every fashionista wants to have a killer outfit to wear on that first day.
Before you have a melt down because Natasha Knowitall always has a better outfit than you, here are some tips to help you look amazing on that first day.

1. What is your style? Don't dress for the cute boy, your friends, or the latest trend. If you like vintage clothing and no one else does WHO CARES??!! I have seen first hand that if you dress for you in what you like, you stand out, people admire you, and you make a statement that no one else can make.

2. Don't over do it. You don't want people to think you spent 5 hours in your room getting ready and when you couldn't come up with anything you  went shopping at the circus store. The key is to look effortless.  Wear a nice outfit with a few complementing accessories, keep your makeup like you would usually wear it, and then do your hair. Make sure the look compliments, you, your body, and doesn't look forced.

3. Have killer confidence. A person with confidence can pull of any outfit. Just tell your self that you are allowed to be here as much as everyone else, and if they care what you look like then they don't matter. Anyone who tries to bully you is the MOST insecure so don't take what they say to heart. They are probably jealous of your amazing outfit ;)

Stay tuned for more advice on boys, fashion, and anything in between.
